if you've been in racing a while you've probably had similar happen, very hard to take when it happens.

whats more infuriating is when you get criticised for not laying off at 1.01


the chances of that happening are far bigger than 1.01 so over time its not a good policy.

Having a smashing day tbf, that is why i can take it on the chin.... glad it has come at the end of the day.

Result like that can make you go mental chasing otherwise... we were all counting the winnings on Wilde Ruby... and then off they went.

I am not so sure all this was down to misfortune. Path to the racecourse still 30 yards ahead. I think the horse jinked through tiredness and Thornton due to his lack of balance/ability rolled off forcing the rest of the tack off. I thought the tack came loose coming out of the back with all the kicking he did.

There is stuff going on, you'd have to be stupid not to realize that.

Jock should've stayed on but horse had ditched tools, may not've won anyway...and I was on...

horse was tired no doubt and really started swerving, it was a good camera point to see, can't really blame the jockey although some would've stayed on i suppose

Everyone is devastated, Thornton couldn't be more appologetic, he says..

The tack loosened somwere between the 1st n 2nd hurdle, but he says everything was fine as he got it balanced underneath thru the race..

She wasnt really tired, it was the horse walkway, and when she ducked to one side, thats when it come out completely..

So i guess theres feck all we can do, except cry n get drunk, my m8 said.
