what do you mean by a free bet....

lads were offering have a bet on camelot if it loses well refund your stake max 20 quid. camelot was 1/2 with lads this morning

pal of mine rang me Friday morning and told me what the offer was going to be on Saturday, I've never been an arbour or one for rushing round the shops to beat the price as i use my local independant who always gives me the best of the big three but thought about the offer last night and thought this is to good to be true, Rang a couple of pals and asked if they could get me a few quid on and me and another pal started at 9am till 9.30am and managed to get 11 bets on, my other pals got me 22 bets on and managed to stake 660 the rest is history, made a weeks wage in half an hour.

Still cant get me head round the offer, Joes; who i work; their best offer today on the derby was stake £5 have a £2 free spin on a fob, bet you cant guess what the best offer was! sorry for the late reply just got in after counting the fob money!

They took money away from other bookies imbalancing their books and I bet some of the winnings were bet back with them again so they got them back. Plus, when some people bet with a firm they stay with it for a while. Neat idea. Isn't it similar to Paddies with the first race at Cheltenham. Draws them in and screws the other books.

How does one manage to get 11 bets on in half an hour? I don't know about Ladbrokes, but with Hills or Coral, if you try to bet in two shops that are near each other, somehow the second shop knows you've been to the first one, and refuses to take a bet.

There are 4 Ladbrokes shops in West Norwood ( South east London)

Trust me, you won't get 'bad' bets on at more than 2 of the shops.

yes this was available in all the lads shops, as i said previously a lads manager phoned me friday telling me what the offer was.

we started off shop A just before 9am i got 1 on at the dot of 9am and my pal got 1 on, went to shop B 400 yards away i got 1 on he got 1 on, drove to shop C 300 yards way i got 1 on he got 1 on, drove back to shop B i put 1 on with a different cashier he put 1 on with the other cashier, drove back to shop C and did the same used the other cashiers so another 2 on coming out bumped into another pal and got him at the last minute to put another on. Didnt try shop A more than once as the manager there is a cow and knows me so would have twigged what i was doing.

I had no problems at all with the staff and i even said them i have never known a bet like this its giving money away, they even smiled and agreed.
