Butter me up first Chapman has an opinion?, well shiver me.....I never noticed.
He's an opinion alright, the I'm always right opinion shoved down everybodies throat and if proven to be wrong his opinion was still right.

o/seas the guy has his fan boys but he's too in your face for my liking, once the camera is rolling shouty man wants to dominate the tv screen, I much prefer my presenters to be less noticeable.
Lydia Hislop can say a lot and much more than Chapman will ever say without feeling the need to overpower our tv screens.

I was at an evening meeting there last year when my chaser was running and just before the race, while I was in the parade ring with friends talking to the trainer and jockey, chapman just pushed right in between us all without an "excuse me" or anything, and stood with his back to me while he spoke to the trainer.
he is by far the rudest racing presenter on the planet.
luckily I already had a very low opinion of him so I was neither surprised nor disappointed by his behaviour that evening.

Eeeyore 22 May 12 22:18 Why didn't you pull him up on it?
one of my friends who knew I didn't like chapman laughed and said "don't do it" when he saw me get annoyed. in the end we just had a laugh about it in the bar afterwards, where we met Jonjo and chatted to him about Dawn Run, so a great night was had by all. even the horse helped by finishing placed at a big price so chapman was just an insignificant annoyance on an otherwise memorable night.
