By the time you log into your account or pick out a yankee the prices have bloody changed! There must be literally hundreds of price changes alreay this morning from this crowd of idiots.
Just look at the 750 Leicester for an example.I was going to put Fourth Of June in a Yankee at 7/1.Its currently 8.2-8.4 on Betfair. But in the time its taken me to pick out the rest of my selections Ladbrokes have changed the price on this horse FOUR times and they now show 6/1.

I have no intention of Arbing anything.I think its more the other way round in that Ladbrokes are scared to lay any bet which they cannot immediately Arb back on the exchanges. Why else shorten a horse from 7/1 to 6/1 when its 8.2-8.4 on Betfair.
Anyway the upshoot of this ridiculous carry on is that i have places my £2 yankee somewhere else.Ladbrokes are driving their customers away in droves with this behaviour and although i dont bet on football my mates are telling me the same thing is happening in the shops when they take their football coupons to the counter.

Yes,that seems to be blatently obvious.Buts the point in them doing this? 99 percent of punters will lose anyway so offering someone 6/1 instead of 7/1 whan the 7/1 is available elsewhere will only drive losing customers away.

years ago they all would lay prices, they had to. unfortunately since the advent of the exchanges and technology things have changed. they make free money on machines, guaranteed profit every year, running into millions. they are paranoid about arbers when in fact they probably do it themselves. horse racing is no longer their core product which means added to the above they can pick and choose who, what and for how much they lay.

Ladbrokes rejected me for a job in 1985 and banned me from sports betting with them in 2011. But, they won't beat me, no way. I may even try for a job again now. Standards were higher in 1985 I suspect.

They are much worse than that. They will normally only settle perhaps 30 seconds before the next race, then, as soon as the race starts if your wanting to back the favorite forget it. Any favorite is instantly shortened beyond recognition. 7/4 goes to 11/10 within seconds. EVERY SINGLE RACE. SO IF YOU TRY TO BACK IT THEY GIVE YOU THE **** PRICE.
