I think you will find that from stalls open to mile post Frankel was the fastest horse on this isle today and would beat them all from east to west!

Kavie, Arkle beat the same horses but increasingly gave them more and more weight. That's the difference. Plus Arkle raced from 1m 6f to 3 miles 5 furlongs.  So no comparison there then.

thats because he won the fooking guineas derby and arc as well as the juddmonte, irish champ and eclipse in his 3 yr old season.

do u think frankel wo0uld be running now if he'd done the same? get a grip.

the problem is frankel wasnt capable of winning those races at 3 so they have to keep him in training. he might even run beyond a mile somedayLaugh

in what way snooty?

frankel WASNT capable, cecil said he was too immature/worry about staying/wont settle.

now back in your box good girl unless you can come back with a sensible rebuttal.

the 2005 winner Rakti would have beaten FRANKEL by 25-30 lens going by times.

dont get to over confident with the horse, still a champ, but he hasnt run any special times in any race win. won today in a time of 1m 38.14s (slow by 2.54s)

Rakti's time was TIME 1m 33.59s (fast by 2.01s)

frankel (ascot 25th sept 10' 1 mile G2- 1 MIN 41.73 GOOD/SOFT)
frankel (ascot 15th oct 11' 1 mile  G1 - 1 MIN 39.45  GOOD )
frankel  (ascot 14th june 11' 1 mile G1 - 1 MIN 39.24 GOOD )

RAKTI   (ascot 25th sept 04' 1 mile G1 - 1 MIN 39.82 GOOD/FIRM)

AND FRANKEL'S LAST 3 RPR'S HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 6LB CLEAR OF ANYTHING RAKTI ACHEIVED

SO CLEARLY FRANKEL IS THE BEST HORSE

Dont think the fastest times have anything to do with it, its the way the races are run
the Guineas wasnt that quick, but had the field destroyed by half way....an exceptional horse...always believe what your eyes tell you.

All champions are likely to come up against similar opposition unless they race over different distances. Excelebration is probably the second best miler around unless there is a big improver lurking somewhere.

Sooty, re Rakti the time was on firm ground and requires approximately 1.6 seconds adding to the time. Frankel`s time was on good/good to soft ground and you need to deduct approximately 3.2 seconds. Overall I don`t like trying to compare one race to another but I don`t think there is any doubt that Frankel would beat any miler you would wish to name.

you had to realise that, even Koiboy fell for it, and you cant get much smarter than the pro amature hunter chace ping, i see he has stuck his neck out again today, went for Paul Trained now well handicaped in a handicap huntwr Chase, he is the bee's b'um when it comes to hunter chase's, as he openley brag's, he says, 'it's not about price's it about them winning, i cant do nothing about the price', got to admit, had the bookies running scared recently with an 8/11 winner followed by a 1/3 2nd in a 4 horse race, the is boy a genious.Blush
