Such a promising horse,sorry for connections

What tragic news.  He was such a game winner at this years festival and a horse with a real future.  A great shame and heartfelt sympathies to everyone connected with the horse.

stable lad/lass will be inconsolable,those who do the horse are closest and always feel the loss the most.

hard for a small yard when they find a good one and this happens, can do so much to raise their profile and bring in owners, sad news for them and the connections, really bad luck

Sounds like what happened to Triptych shortly after she was sent to the paddocks. Always sad when this sort of thing happens.

spoke to lucinda and peter a few weeks ago and they were on top of the world and in very good form ......this game has a horrible habit of kicking you in the teeth when least expected..fab prospect sadly no more ..rip big fella xx

Sorry for connections of Brindisi Breeze looked such a good horse and for a smaller stable, absoloutely gutting. Third Cheltenham winner gone within 2 months.

really sad , horrible news .What a terrible , freak accident . the main yard is very close to the M90 and also the Milnathort road to St. Andrews/Fife . But what were the chances of a Tanker/lorry hitting BB at that time in the morning ( 2.30 am was reported ). My thoughts go out to all concerned .

given that situation perhaps a taller gate would be in order ....

No consolation, but maybe one to watch out for is Comeonginger, a full brother to Brindisi  breeze, has only raced/won twice & looked special in P2Ps..as did Brindisi breeze.... wears  the Denamn colours......could turn out to be as good as his brother.

interesting, koi - is he with Ms Russell? Stable also have Bold Sir Brian who showed decent potential as novice chaser. I feel sorry for the owner who, I think, is relatively new to the game and came across as a real enthusiast.
