DOUBLE MEAD

Good  ground & 20f is exactly what it needs imo ,&  has won all 4 Points this season .
Has a bad habit of hitting/going through its fences, but has never looked like falling & they don’t seem to stop it ..
Ran a blinder last time against Divine intavntion, with ISLAND LIFE (danger here) well back in the field, granted ,that  race was over 3m, but DOUBLE MEAD would have went very close over 20f that day , (ISLAND LIFE was struggling)  & looks to have too much speed for ISLAND LIFE.

Divine Intavention then went on to run MY FLORA to around 2L……in the context of this race..that form stand out here,
DOUBLE MEAD actually gave ISLAND LIFE weight in that race……but receives 6LB here.
ISLAND LIFE has won 3 times since that race & hammered SUNDAY CITY (runs here) 19L off levels,
It gets 4LB for IL here but that should’nt be enough to turn that form around.

ISLAND LIFE also beat another runner here last time out..  FAIRWOOD PRESENT..an old stager that actually travelled like the winner in that race…..coulds have been down to the ground though that it got so close as it was bad & only 2 finished…..good ground today & FWP will struggle here.

I think ISLAND LIFE will lead, but DOUBLE MEAD is a traveler & should have too much pace at the end of this granted a clear round.
