Having reflected upon salmon spray`s post yesterday I think that he is right:

This REALLY is getting boring.
I think BF are trying to get rid of the Forum. This continual and pointless slanging match is just the sort of thing which will justify them.

Surely it is time for us to forget our differences and try to get along. In the interests of the forum and the vast majority of users that is how I propose to proceed from now on.
