Just seen a tweet from Chester racecourse saying there will be no parking on the open course, any pre-booked parking can park in the dee stand. Does this mean the dee stand is shut?
And where do the books & everyone else park?

No idea Jimnast but that is what the tweet said. Infact they can't, no way of getting in there.

putting two and two together this is a ring manager using his initiative to get a message to as many course books as possible

They have now changed tweet to say, people who have pre-booked for course will have access to the dee stand, that makes more sense

not surprised potty it was like royal ascot last year thankfully i brought my joint home with me.

pacey i did go it was workable but alot of hassle getting the gear off.

Jimnast, if you cant park on the course will be a nightmare getting gear in and out of dee, will try and find out what the craic is before friday

CLARIFICATION
i've been contacted by a fellow northern bpa director with this information

all bookmakers please note that no bookmakers are allowed to bet in the centre tomorrow.

cars may be allowed into the centre in certain areas [ final decision in the morning ] for tatts and dee enclosure bookmakers to park but the centre is closed for bookmakers and public viewing.
the dee stand and goat walk are open as normal
anyone with prepaid tickets for the centre , these will gain admission to the dee stand [ 2nd ring ]

Am I misreading that, or are they saying there's no parking at all in the centre course?

as best as i can tell you , dr gonzo , there may be some parking for the public but that may be reviewed in the morning as parts are waterlogging.
best advice is to get there earlier than you normally would to be sure

hope i am wrong but i dont think there will be any need for car parking tommorow.

Cheers adge - will be going on the rattler if I decide to go tomorrow though not planning on it if this weather carries on, but find it difficult to understand how they'll be able to go ahead with no parking
