2-y-o at Royal Ascot Three Valleys

El Gran senor is correct, Lady Carla owned by Wafic Said. So many great horses impossible to rank a top 10 but top 3 imo Frankel,Dancing Brave & Empire Maker. The French one that won the Arc was Rail Link, best breeding operation bar none.

Lady Carla and Bosra Sham were both owned by Wafic Said, who previously owened Distant Relative. The fillies won the Oaks and 1,000 Guineas respectively in 1996 both trained by Sir Henry and ridden by Eddery.

Beat Hollow, Cityscape, Defensive Play, Distant Music, Distant View, French Glory, Observatory, Passage Of Time, Polish Summer, Quiff, Special Duty, Sunshack, Tilerman, Tenby, Twice Over, Wince, Xaar and Zenda are a few other decent ones although maybe not enough to be in his top 10.

For anoraks.....in the summer of 1987 Abdullah briefly had the three favs (all in double figures admittedly) for the following year's Guineas. All were trained by Guy Harwood - a point for each.

Right era Tobermory but no. Warning and Undercut both won at Goodwood and the talk was that they had an unraced one better at home according to some (including Geoff Lawson, Guy's assistant). Began with T.

I was at a Windsor night meeting on a Monday when he had his first ever winner (it's been mentioned on this thread). It was an unraced 2yo that won the first race on the card in a big field (Piggott rode; Jeremy Tree trained). I backed a horse in it called C0cky Dundas (named after one of Lord Oaksey's mates I think. It did no good that night, but won a similar race at the track later that season - again first race on the card). I used to go those meetings before doing a night shift in a glue factory on Slough Trading estate.

What a breeding operation the Prince has, but when you have broodmares like Hasili that go onto produce names like Banks Hill, Cacique, Champs Elysees, Dansili, Heat Haze and Intercontinental you can see why year after the Juddmonte production line collects at the top level. Her offspring alone are six winners of twelve G1's, seven G2's and nine G3's :-o
