Betfair your BETA or what ever its called

They wont let you opt out. How much did they waste on inventing this brilliant "beta" version

Brilliant isn't it, to get to the usable version of the site, you have to click to get rid of the pop-up, then click to go to classic, then click to opt-out, then are you sure coz we're not going to let you back in
Then you can click to go to the page you first wanted.

I think I've seen someone post elsewhere how to get around this by changing the address line, must search it out before tomorrow's ritual.

Like the new forum , here to stay like it or lump it

the new forum is far better,you know whos on site and how many,you can message posters whom you ve built a friendship with,its more open and clearier.

should shut down classic really.

the new forum is ok, but extremely slow for me.
the Beta is garbage, and I might just lump it.

Some do prefer it but the amount off posters has dropped markedly with the new format and 90% of threads arent bothered with now , old forum was faster and easier to monitor , read etc

Say the wrong thing and you would have had 40/50 posts in two minutes , was better craik imo , each to his own tho

The Beta site is rubbish; we shouldn't have to repeatedly opt out; it's poor design. Instead of wasting masses on this Beta rubbish BF should fix known bugs in the regular site. Use:

in the address bar to avoid the Beta cr4p (until we get it forced upon us, as it surely will be because one thing is for sure, how ever much we protest they will do what they want).

The most irritating aspect of this is that I have to endure that idiotic navigation procedure about a dozen times a day, as the wonderful Betfair customer services have repeatedly told me to clear my cookies (as if it's the fault of my PC, and not their sh*tty website) which in effect means a restart, as clearing cookies renders my balance at zero, and things just don't work!

Why is there not a choice, and for the default to be set at what WE want it to be?
If you prefer Beta, then opt for it, and as I, like the vast majority prefer the 'classic' version, why doesn't the opt out of Beta alternative mean PERMANENTLY opt out?

We're getting what they're spoon-feeding us whether we like it or not, and all their surveys are just window-dressing, because they'll lie and try to convince us the majority prefer this new version.
All of us on the forum know it's utter bollox...a bit like their customer services
