I met a young farrier last night at the CL&C Hunt Ball who insisted (somewhat agressively) that Caspar Netscher would definately finish in the 1st five today.  If he didn't he would run around the Marquee in the nip next year. LaughLaughLaugh

I suppose there's an element of after timing on my part but have only just seen this but was anyone strongly stating that the horse would win anyway? Seemed quite a safe statement to make that it wouldn't win and it had shown nowhere near the level of form needed and its SP or 22/1 seemed to suggest that.
