Mine is fcuked (it's a USB port) and I've tried a couple of old ones (rounded plugs on end) but they don't seem to be registering with the PC - is there some simple tick box I should activate to get it working?

Thanks.

For the old ones (PS2 connection), you need to restart the PC. USB keyboards can be plugged in and work whilst the PC is switched on, PS2 cannot.

Try shutting the computer down completely ,not a restart take the connection out of the computer for 10 seconds, then replace and start up again, hopefully windows will find it,i've had this before and had to do this a few times, good luck.
