Horses are coming to a standstill in these conditions. They will run Quevega because they are Irish and its the Punchestown festival and its for 99K euros. Non of the horses will relish the conditions. Quevega has never run on anything worse than good ground over 3 miles. You are guessing that she will be effective. Mugs bet.

So WHEN Quevega beats VDV by more than 3 lenghts... it doesnt mean that he is better than Big Bucks, it just means he would give him a good fight... 2 horses Ive back almost everytime are Big Bucks and Quevega and have not been let down by either at anytime. But I have more confidence when backing Quevega, dont ask me why as Big Bucks is usually a shorter price, but the faith is always more behind Quevega... Good luck with your bets tilted myself into going BIG on Quevega now... :D

I love both these two and never lost backing Quevega, today I have gone for Voler La Vedette and the forecast QueVega and Voler La Vedette.  I just think she has improved this year.

I've backed Mourad and am gonna lay Quevega. On this ground over this trip no way would I back her. GL none the less.

I have gone with Voler Le Vedette ,has shown improved form lately.

Everytime this horse wins sooooo comfortably, Ruby was playing with his goggles as he came along side :D he knew he had a beast under him.... What to remember now is Ruby rides Big Bucks aswell and as Quevega beat VLV ALOT easier than Big Bucks... would he fancy Quevega instead? unlikely but... who knows

The ratings had Big Buck's at 174 and Voler La Vedette at 154 for the World Hurdle and yet there was only 1¾L between them at the line with the mare running around at the business end too. Quevaga was rated 158 before today and will probably go up again.

For the record I couldn't make my mind up out of the two of them so place backed the 2nd @ 1.38.

Missing the HE ima.........i.e her being a mare. Only leg pulling as you know..............still dont think she is anywhere near BB as impressive as she was.

Re-BB and VLV at Chelt.......well documented that Ruby thinks BB is better on a flatter track.
