Okay, this is what I've been given: 15:55 Wolverhampton

Please be aware that the off of the 15:55 Wolverhampton was missed. The market was never placed in-play and the following Rules and Regulations apply:

If a market is scheduled to be turned in-play but Betfair does not suspend the market at the time of the ‘off’ and the market is not turned in-play at any time during the event, all bets matched after the scheduled time of the ‘off’ will be void (in the case of horseracing and greyhound racing, bets will be void from the official rather than the scheduled ‘off’ time).

The BSP will be manually reconciled before the market is settled

I just want somebody to explain watchit - simple. Make people responsible without hiding behind a prepared excuse and they are less likely to do it again.

BCM2 can we have the official off time to the second please. They have robbed a few us

So we can't lay our bets off and we lose our money and don't get a refund because of a software issue, and the phone lines are jammed? Is this standard?

not a technical issue obviously but a manual mistake.

watchit - not really easy for me to say much on what you state: but I;ve done my best for you guys here, and I always see what I do as part of our customer service. So perhaps it's not all bad

I struck a bet pre race , and wanted to put a lay IR just after the off , i was denied the chance through someone elses fault but its deemed acceptable , were this a group race at ascot the race would still be suspended but unfortunately it was a class 42 at wolves so most were unafected , move on i have

unfortunately it's in their T's & C's so no hope for everyone who lost. Its disgusting and Betfair should at least have this from the T's & C's up in lights somewhere as a warning:

Who actually drafts the excuses - they are fairly insulting to people that have lost good money on an event because somebody ' missed' the off. For 'missed' substitute 'was making the tea' etc.etc. Fortunately I was not one of them but I have been in the past.

But it's a manual mistake that has happened many, many, many times in the past.  We've been given the official off time as 15.56.01 - so why on earth isn't there some sort of sw alarm that sounds when a market goes past its official start time and still hasn't been turned IR?  Being, say 2 mins late on a soccer match is very different to being 2 mins late on a flat horse race.  You could set the alarm to sound every x% of a market's likely duration so that even if an event is delayed, it can't then be "forgotten about".

It's basic stuff BF, and we'd all be a lot better if some effort went into that rather than super slots and the like.
