The things you learn...was glancing at the birthday list in the Racing Post today and happened to notice Kevin Leasons name.....( always remember his name because he rode a winner in the last race of the day the first time i ever went racing in 1978, a back end two year old winner for Ken Ivory called Superb Lady )
Well in the post it has Karen ( nee' Kevan ) Leason ) ...so googled him and found he has had a sex change
obviously this was years ago so a lot of people will already know.
Bet there's a few jockeys riding today who a lot of punters would like to put through the same gelding operation

I remember having £50 on Goldhills Pride at 20/1 ridden by Leason and trained by my local trainer Tommy Craig at Dunbar to win I think the PORTLAND HANDICAP I think at Donny many years ago. When I come to think of it probably the last time I backed a winner ha ha!!
