i backed midnight macarena to beat the favourite, the favourite pulls up early in the race and my one fell at the last, yet i lose my bet???

typical, according to full race result on sporting life the full result shows the fav came stone last, why the hell did the commentator state he pulled up after approx 5 bloody fences therefore!

I can definately see what you are saying, if that was a gentlemans agreement down the pub you would have been paid out, but dealing with betting firms neither horse finished if your horse had finished the course even if it was walking, you would have been or should have been paid out, I've had that more than once I can tell you, and it is not how things panned out in the race, it's if they finished the complete course... not my rules you understand, or my idea of how it should be, but this is how I was dealt with in same circumstances...... if neither complete I agree it should be void....
