Rain Affair - Head to Head - with Foxwedge .... 'Whets the appetite'.
![]() Rain Affair is some machine. |

I think I will have to side with Foxwedge, should be very close though. Is there any other Stakes races elsewhere in Oz tomorrow? Always find info for over there tough to find!!!
Can't wait for the Doncaster next weekend, did back Niagara before the George Ryder. Was expecting a better show from him, I have to say! Do you know whether Mosheen will be running in the Oaks? |

Just the 25.0 on here looks quite large if she is an intended runner. Especially as she beat Streama in the Vinery, granted she was fast finishing but Niko did drop his hands very early on Mosheen

Pierro isnt favorite because theres a better horse than him running "all too hard" little brother of black caviar. he looks destine to be a A grade middle distance champ.
race 6 keep an eye on the winner, "atlantic jewel" coolmore claim she is the best filly in the world to race in their colours, we already knew how good she is, fist run in 6 months months after an injury. jockeys, boss and rodd have stated she is the black caviar od middle distance races. |
|

Megsy in fairness Pierro beat Narcissus as well the last day. Personally I will be taking the bigger price about Pierro. Should be a great race to watch.
Atlantic Jewel should be very interesting to watch |

Pierro running again - for $500,000 - just a week after winning $350,000 might seem strange to British racing followers ....
But they train them in 'Spells' Down Under. What I find even more strange, though - is ALL TOO HARD missing the chance of winning $350,000 in the Slipper, last week - after winning at Rosehill the week before - and now turning up - just a week after the Slipper - for One Seventh of the Slipper prize money. |
|
By:
onlooker...he's been valued at $15 million after 3 starts, why run him in a rough house 6f sprint, you need luck to win at rosehill in a group 1 sprint, the 3rd horse, the filly samaready if had the same run as Pierro would have won very easily.
All Too Hard was never going to run in the slipper. and it was more like 1.6 million to the winner, not $350,000,he's aimed at the sires and the champagne stakes, both group 1's |

Rain Affair is definately a machine.

megsy - I missed a comma out, and a nought 0 off - obviously.
I naturally meant $3,500,000 - my post not making sense, otherwise. ![]() ![]() Aami Golden Slipper Group 1 1200m Time: 1:09.74. Sectional Time: 0:34.33 at 600m. Starters: 16. Set Weight Open. Track: Good. Prizemoney: $3,500,000 - ------------------------------ Good point re: his valuation - being a Black Caviar relative. |

PIERRO beats 55-year old Race Record....
- and Black Caviar's, previously, unbeaten full-brother. |

All Too Hard had no chance after missing the start by 3 lens, raced greenly, but a exceptional win by pierro. |
|
By:
Pierro's grand sire and sire were freaks of australian turf middle distance races. both would easily hold their own in the world racing scene. he looks like his dad and looks like he has taken over the family mantel.
|
|

That was an exceptional reapperance

atlantic jewel by a lazy 5 lens against top class mares, 6 from 6 now... coolmore owners licking their chops, worlds her oyster they claim.

Out of interest what website do you guys use for studying the form in Oz?
Thought Pierro was quite impressive, Atlantic Jewel was simply awesome. Quite shocked to see a Maiden break his tag at the 4th attempt in the Derby! |

racenet.com.au -
Click on 'Form' - from the TOP Red Banner Line From Meeting List > Select Form - for required Meeting That individual meeting then loads > Select 'Race Fields' - NOT Form Guide - from the Left-Hand Menu ... You then have the Racecard for the meeting. Click on individual horse - on the card - (as you would on racingpost.com) for last 8 outings.... or - at the TOP of EACH RACE - you can Select > Click here for full form on this race ... to get similar for ALL runners, as opposed to individual Horse. ---------------------------------------- http://www.skyracing.com.au/tab/form/index.php Select Skyform from the meetings list. Click on the individual horse for a last 4 runs 'overview' - not as detailed as racenet - and 'analysis comments ... They tend to give practically EVERY horse a chance, though. -- or use the Left-Hand +/- Button at the Top of each race to view the WHOLE Field. CHANGE MEETINGS - and thus races - from the DROP-DOWN Arrow - on the SECOND Line, at the TOP of the FRAME. |

Cheers Onlooker!
Any fancies for the Doncaster? I backed Niagara before the George Ryder Stakes, was slightly disapointed by the run tbh. |
