I don't bother with the Fri or Sat now, can't be doing with the scrum it inevitably is now (or the £45 tickets), but absolutely love the Thursday.

Get there early, walk the course, and always some top quality racing.

I love it a 10 times better meeting than Aintree from a punting perspective. Decent sized fields, not 30 in every bloody race like Cheltenham, and run at a fairer track where there are far fewer hard luck stories.

Cheltenham is an illusion created by the bookmaking industry, its actually absolute pants from a punting perspective.

Yes Dr, a fine day indeed.

Thursday has for a long time been the day to invest. Looking forward to today and tomorrow more as a social occasion (píss up)
