I just backed Mon Mome at 90/1. Am I guaranteed that price now?

No - You are not, "guaranteed that price now." .... IF you have placed your bet at Betfair SP.

However - If you clicked on the 90/1 price, and backed it in the NORMAL market - then you are ON at 90.

"Projected SP" - is the price currently that the horse MAY be returned at Betfair SP - based on the Money CURRENTLY in that Market

However - The Betfair SP is a SEPARATE Market to the Pre-Race 'Always Open' Market  - with SEPARATE Amounts of Money/Bets and Lays HELD in THAT SP Market.

The Betfair SP is NOT Determined until the Race SUSPENDS at the BEGINNING of the race.
It is then CALCULATED - at THAT POINT in time - from the Money contained within THAT Market - and the corresponding Odds Offered and Requested, therein.

If you clicked on 90 it's 89/1 and you will have to pay approx 5% commission if it wins, you probably know this but if you've put the bet on for someone else for saturday don't tell them they've got 90/1 bruv.

The " projected SP" is so inaccurate ,that it is  useless.
