You've only been here less than a week mate so I'd have a think to see if you are sure you want to delete your account. I don't think you can delete your facebook account either pal.

You empty your account and inform them by e-mail or phone, you can also self exclude yourself from the site. Accounts left untouched/dormant accounts get a % took off them each year you'll have to look under the terms an conditions for how much because I can't remember offhand and I'm far too lazy to look right now.

One of my mates (who was on here recently) wanted to delete an old account as passwords were getting on his tits, and he was unable to post on the forum due to a permanent ban.

He tried to delete the redundant account and there was no option to do so, and foolishly he pressed self-exclude, without realising all his linked accounts would be suspended too.

He's got ante-post bets tied up and the Betfair police are being intransigent, and just won't budge!

Even the small matter of his account being well in profit (suggesting there is no gambling problem whatsoever) is ignored, as these non-negotiable ballbags enjoy fcuking things up for their clientele.

If an account needs to be deleted, do it by email or with a phone call Sad

BL - you say 'obviously' so why don't the imbeciles at Betfair have a simple option to delete?

Instead...they prefer a six month suspension and no U-turn whatsoever!

Surrey, you need to ask Lazarus2 for details,he has died and been resurrected more times in different names then you can shake a stick at.If BF retain details after death then Laz must be responsible for a fair percentage of them,he is the one to ask imo.hth
