Just been sent another update: Our Technical Team have restarted the Live Video products boxes - as the clearing of cache has only helped a small percentage of customers to view the horse racing links.
We have tested externally after clearing cache once again and can see all listings of today’s UK horse racing.
We kindly ask anyone still affected to try this once again, but please make sure you log out and close the original window first.
Once again Betfair would like to apologise for these technical issues our customers are experiencing.

Yes I know what you mean. They just seem to patch over problems and create more/different problems rather than fix things properly. They need somebody like Gary (Gruss software) at the helm who wouldn't sleep at night if he had as many bugs as this place.

Dont want to upset others but just to help BCM2 I've had hardly any problems with live video today. Pic breakup 1st at Southwell and no sound for 3.30 at Sedge the only blips.
My best day watching BF Video in ages.
This problem is clearly not a universal one.
I'm based in West Berks and am using Firefox.

"Why don't they just undo last nights fix/upgrade/patch/bodge until they sort it out."
Pugs,
BCM2 has promised since the shambles of the new Beta version implementation last year that we would be pre warned of any upgrade to Betfair Video.

It's hard to not form the opinion that bcm2 may suffer from being "too nice" it would be a lot better if he stormed the tech office and turned a few tables over, i get the impression that they are all sat around in there not really giving a toss!!

BCM2 - how much has the 3rd-party responsible for LV paid out to BF in financial compensation for failing to meet contracted SLAs?
... and if you can't tell us, will it appear in the end of year financial accounts? You know how interested we shareholders are...

Perhaps we're gong to get Easter pressies to say sorry!
You, along the lines of the M&S ads... "this is not just a betting exchange freebie mug, this is a Betfair mug with an Easter egg!"
then again, I suppose we'll be continued to be treated with the usual disdain and deliberate ignorance that has blighted this company for sometime now.

Our Technical Team have identified the problem and a fix is now in place. The route problem was the events were not being updated on all the servers and if any customer was connected to that particular server they would receive old content.
Betfair would like to apologise for the length of time it has taken to fix this problem throughout this afternoon and wish to thank our customers for their patience.
