It has been announced that the Meydan 14:45 Race will be re-run at 19:25 BST this evening.  Fox Hunt has been removed from the market with a 21.8% reduction factor and all In-Play bets have been voided.  The BSP has been un-reconciled and markets re-opened with unmatched bets cancelled.

Agree completely with OP,this decision makes Betfair look greedy,desperate for a bit of commission.Betfair ought to void all bets and reopen the market

I can't believe how badly betfair have handled this market.
I layed the favourite. Money was first refunded, Then looking at my account at about 5pm, I noticed that my lay of the favourite was still in place - the favourite was now at a higher price so I greened up on the favourite. Coming back to my computer 5 minutes ago i noticed that my lay was now not in place, it had been cancelled, so i've now laid at a higher price with a smaller green on the favourite.
If Betfair are going to adjust markets on reruns, it should only be done once and no bets should be cancelled so everyone knows where they stand. I'm annoyed, they knew what was going on at 5, and have decided to cancel one of my bets.
The market should have been cancelled with such a significant reduction in the market, 21.8%, and a rerun.
