Always seems strange how most mornings you can pick almost any race and notice that 6-7 horses have supposedly been "backed".....Are these firms making a balls of their early prices or are they just trimming right across the board every day no matter what....take the last at Kempton for example....talk about a sea of blue!

When a horse is declared a non-runner  eg Sergeant Troy at 10:18 in the race you speak of, all the other odds will of course shorten to reflect this - hence the sea of blue.
