Fred Rule 4 50p for both PW horses. Books should allow customers the option of a R4 at advertised prices during guarantee period.
Also, I note number of N/Rs in race and expect another to come out. Contrast with Cheltenham where connections aren't easily influenced to pull out horses. Also, books are having it both ways about the time of a Rule 4. If a subsequent NR's price doesn't qualify for Rule 4 when the bet is placed, but then shortens (as they do) to a price that does qualify, before it is withdrawn, then Rule 4 is calculated on the price at the time the horse was withdrawn. Alternatively, if a subsequent NR's price does qualify for a Rule 4 when the bet is placed, but then lengthens to a price that does not qualify, then the Rule 4 is calculated at the price when bet the was placed. I don't mind one or the other but I strongly object to both. |
