is it just me or have i just watched a very poor Gold cup that a 4 mile plodder that cant jump has just won a Gold cup?.......

To answer your question. You were watching an exciting race which was more open than pundits and the betting industry wanted you to believe. If you had an open mind to making your betting selections you wouldn't have seen the horse as a plodder or mudlark, you would have seen a Lexus winner on good ground with considerable proven staying qualities. That should have ticked a few boxes when it came to making a decision on who to back.

what a refreshing reply ShannonSpray. in hindsight your probably right. i jamp on the kauto star bandwagon on the simple fact it was a poor gold cup and i thought an awsome kauto star as described by paul nicholls was a good bet. shame mange doesnt have your knowledge
