Shown an absolute lack of opinion and desire to get anything beat!

Fair play to Hills who have shown their opinion and laid accordingly

Lads behaviour has been extraordinary this week. i guess they don't want the business.
the half odds a place on the world hurdle this morning was a reasonable concession i suppose but generally their prices are rubbish.

Hill's will not Lay me or any other punter in my Local a stake of more than £100 unless it's on a short priced one..... the local independent is putting them to sham with his specials and price matching.

Ladcrooks have obviously made a conscious business decision to give virtually nothing away and go for a high percentage profit rather than compete with the rest for turnover. It will be interesting to know if they actually lose any accounts to the likes of PP and Billys who have gone for the opposite approach and would they win more or less money longterm by competing for a higher turnover at a lower margin.

^ A small percentage profit on a high turnover is better than a high percentage profit on a low turnover imo.  My local Laddies has been like the Mary Celeste at all times during the day this week, you need people in the shop to make any money at all imo (excluding those poor FOBT addicts which is really what Laddies want)...
