both fantastic servants to the game, had a bad day punting but a terrible end to the coverage. Makes you wonder how firm that cross country course was. Terrible shame that scotsirish has gone, hope garde champetre isnt too serious and can retire to a nice field now.

Only the two in the X-Country - Scots Irish one was horrible. Not sure if it was jumping the Canal Turn fence or just after, broken near hind I think.

Garde Champetre broke down on the flat - the way he lost his action looked pretty bad, I wouldn't hold out much hope. Couldn't see what might have caused it as fence blocked the view.
