1) Big Bucks - not my cup of tea this nag, in my opinion if they had any guts they would have gone over fences again last season but instead they keep clocking up the wedge in the weakest championship division there has been for 30 years... gutless.

2) Long Run - ridden by a bloke who couldnt ride a drunk prostitute! The horse cant jump, owned by upper class twits and trained by a bloke who just loves misleading punters. I for one will be hoping this year it ends on the f;loor where it deserves.

3) Hurricane Fly - rarely seen and simply fails to fire the imagination like a sea pigeon, istabraq or even a rooster booster. Basically a flat track bully boy who if it played cricket would be Graham Hick.

I hope all 3 lose next week........... just so we can avoid ludicrous mumblings from Andy Stewart, Waley-Cohen senior (god how I hate double barrelled names) and finally the insipid Ted Walsh having to admit HF is just a very average nag!!!

agree about big bucks to be fair, cant be cosidered a great when they didnt try chasing and going for a gold cup.fantastic horse though.
to wish horses to fall is very sad and shows a lack of intelligence by herblington.

the horse has a different way of jumping hurdles i think there is a good chance it would break its leg or get some fatal injury over fences

Report daz55o March 10, 2012 1:27 AM GMT
the horse big bucks very rarely jumps the hurdles big he sort of steps over them i am sure if nichols facied him as a jumper then he would have gone down that route
Report ima_mazed66 March 10, 2012 1:30 AM GMT
The horse has been chasing already and wasn't suited to it.

Name the last Stayers'/World Hurdler to win the Gold Cup? You may also just as well say Baracouda didn't beat much in his wins or Istabraq didn't in his Champion Hurdles. You can only beat what you are up against and it's not just that he beat them, it's the sequence he's run up plus the way the horse has been beating them and how many horses have had to go chasing due to connections banging their heads against a brick wall because of him and then what they went on to do over fences, like Don't Push It winning the Grand National or Diamond Harry the Hennessy and plenty of horses have won or run well in big races in both hurdles and chases before and after being beaten by Big Buck's.

Plus that Grand Crus horse isn't exactly a back number but was beaten 5L twice last season by Big Buck's at contrasting courses like Cheltenham and Aintree so they seem to all come the same to him and now Grand Crus is unbeaten when impressing since going chasing.

The comment on SWC's riding doesn't even deserve a response either and as for Hurricane Fly then I don't think it was actually part of their preparations to end up having to miss Cheltenham twice (which isn't a flat track anyway) and again the horse can only beat what it's up against when it gets there on the day.

This fella is the voice of reason fellow fourmites, so much so that he has to be very PC on all his posts after serving a 12 month ban for previous racist remarks..... he's a really lovely bloke!!

Ok I may have been a little over the top re Long Run falling, basically I want the horse to lose cos I have no time for bad jockeys and SWC reslly is awful and as for Henderson he's lucky to have a license!!

As for Big Bucks I just dont get this nag or the owners, they are gutless. I hope its beaten out of sight mainly so that I dont have to listen to Money Grabbing Financier Stewart offer boring platitudes and the simply gruesome sight of Fat Boy Down trying to ingratiate himself into a free drink................

You would think that Long Run would have been on the floor by now if that's what he deserves and whilst in his younger days and occasionally now even he puts in the odd less than foot perfect jump, all horses do and is why Kauto Star has been on the floor more than once and made plenty of fluffed jumps even when staying upright, and yet Long Run for a supposedly bad jumped has never failed to finish in 13 chases with 8 wins, three 2nds and two 3rds, with SWC's record on the horse in chases being 5 wins, two 2nds and two 3rds from his 9 rides so not really much there to support the argument that he can't ride.

Any luck on the last Stayers'/Hurdle winner to win the Gold Cup by the way?
Report richters March 10, 2012 9:50 AM GMT

Yet again another cracking post from Right Nob Len. Proof that he can't think before blurting out a total load of c rap. Wishing horses to fall is the lowest yet. Your opinions Len are worthless. Your points about Big Bucks beating nothing in winning the world hurdle are useless as well. He can only beat what he's up against. Based on your theory Istabraq's credentials could be argued when winning 2 of his 3 champions. He beat Theatreworld twice. A horse that didn't win another hurdle race after finding Istabraq too good at Cheltenham, and had beaten not much of merit in his previous hurdle victories.
Why not keep your opinions to yourself Len?
On another note, Dickie Johnson, Dougie Costello and all the other Jockey's you've slated over the last few weeks have had this to say about you.... He has no judgement of pace as he continually arrives early when going to sign on, the doors aren't even open. He signs on using an X, as he's likely to go back on another day and use a Y, in the hope that he doesn't get nobbled. And lastely, you are in need of a new armchair, as yours must be worn out by now with all the obstacles you've jumped recently, so pop next door next week and apply for one of them crisis loans, but don't forget you've used X and Y.
