I fully understand Virgin that sire won't be producing many who stay that trip, that was factored into the price but in a race of that desperate quality I felt given the horses' adequate form at trips where it was outpaced and couldn't show it's best accordingly, it was worth a go.
Once again however the price of certain horses that jock rides are always seemingly bigger than they should be - because they aren't being tried with. That horse being a price example. He wasn't interested in first place and he duly finished where he wanted to with a ride that made him look like a trier. He's a disgrace and I'll learn today never to back one he's on again. |

I had similar idea with Grand Gold on the trip hence the small place .... nothing to do with my jock though
