Two or three month ago last man out was sold.Does anybody know how much it made.No 96 or so is on there now(finishes 8 o'clock)& I've a feeling it's not going to make as much as the last man out pitch made.

The exact price it's worth - no 99 went for that

Yes last man out is probably in my opinion worth more.Last man out gets the second last pick when it's a full house so he gets a better pick than 96.He can pick who he wants to stand beside or get a gap whereas 96 has no control over who he gets beside him or whether he has a gap.As for last man out getting second last pick I'll leave that one for you to workout.

Don't worry I know the score!!!

I do believe if the ring busy wants to use their authority they can put latecomers where they like.

Late comers isn't the reason. All the pitch holders are there when the pitches are done.

Tactical opt out by someone who has a pitch in the numbers and also no.1 on the waiting list isn't it?

Gotcha - all happens a long time after I've picked

It's generally bloody chaos with picks in the late 60s blocking those who've got early picks

Saying that though it was funny to see Leo go Beetroot with rage when he couldn't get by the parade ring last year

Exactly Wassy & in effect because he has a high number in the ring it makes number 1 out of the numbers worth more to him than his pitch in the numbers.May sound daft but as said earlier he can control who he wants to bet next to whereas if he took his pick from his first pick he would have no control over who he bet next to or he can give himself a gap.I do exactly the same in Chester Tatts.I've a high number there but I very rarely use it,I'm better off taking my pick from my supplementary number.

What will replenishment do to Aintree - there'll be no gaps anymore - half the pitches won't be worth two bob

wouldn't go as much as half apg but definitely 50%
