Tynedale-I would only go there if I had nowt else on.The only way to make this hunt realise the days of the gentry & serfs has long on.If they think I'm going to hump my gear down there from the car park for no other reason than they say I should, well they are wrong. The only way with these people is to hit them in their pockets. The less books the better, they get no guarantee. They only get paid on the number of books who attend so the less books that attend then the less money they get.Maybe someday they may realise this stupid stance they have against bookies is costing them money & they may then accept they are wrong.Believe it or not, when I explained to them why we need to get the cars down on the field to unload our gear I was told get the cadets to carry some of your gear. Can you imagine saying to the cadets carry this board or this board battery for me son?The poorkids couldn't lift the gear let alone carry it.If one of the cadets was helping someone to carry the gear & a parent saw can you imagine what would be said?I even suggested that we pay a nifty as we went & got a token or whatever which allowed us down to the trackside to unload.Once unloaded the car would be moved into the car park & the nifty reimbursed on production of the token.Any cars not out by the time of the first race the nifty is forfeited, they wouldn't even go along with this. You go to the second meeting on this track(The Braes)nowts a bother to them & bend over backwards to work with us. Derwent-Usually a profitable meeting & this year they've split the maiden prior to the day so it should be better for us. Sedgefield-I haven't ruled it out & I can virtually see the track from our house. However you know what I think of the place. So there you go,one ruled out & I haven't made my mind up yet between the other two.Wherever I go it will be a full team, too early in the year to start splitting the team.

dave The match at St James's has made my decision for me as to where to go on Sunday.Sedgefield with this game on will probably be a waste of time so I'll be taking the kids for a day at the seaside. They tell me Scarborough is very nice this time of the year, maybe I'll find something to do there.
