Get your views down here on what pisses you off about him.
His views are always right.
He gives his views as though we should all geneflect in front of him(ala Brough Scott).
He belittles people who he thinks aren't right.
After EVERY novice hurdle he always tells us that 'whatever this one does over hurdles is a bonus', right up there with ATR on course presenters telling us after a 2-y-o race that they 'think' the horse will be better for the exprience.
His commentaries are rubbish.
People telling us 'at least he has an opinion'.
When races overlap and one finishes, he can't just go straight to the other race without rabbitting on about the one that's just finished(we've been watching it, we know who's won and what happened in the race), meaning they're running to the line and we still can't get commentary.
Continually namedrops.
Has to tell us the trainers wife's name etc and what a good cook she is, or how a certain trainer throws a great party etc, just so we know he knows said trainer personally.

Yes, in that he can be highly entertaining and though he admits sometimes he gets it wrong, is very knowledgable and clearly loves the sport. You are just being nasty and not balancing your thoughts on
Matt properly. Sure he can be annoying sometimes but he can also be great fun and let me tell you, many people thoroughly enjoy him. Unlike some of the presenters on RUK who I found really dull when I joined for a short time. |

Firstly, he is the best presenter they have got - how good does that makes him?
I preferred him before he 'hijacked' the station to continually give his views about the whip - it became predictable and boring to re-state them over and over and over again and apply them to virtually every scenario that suited. Do you really believe all the self-deprocating put downs? Surprised his head can fit in the box. He has become increasingly guilty of brown nosing. |

i like him but he p1sses me off when he starts roaring at one of his guests on the line when the phone goes dead. Was a total pain going on and on about the whip. Slags off cooney with the same thing every time walking the streets of the night

I like Matt Chapman. Much rather have him in the booth than those two pr1cks Enzo or Boycie. Boycie is starting to annoy me more than Thommo does and I never thought I'd say that about anyone.

Another annoying trait of the toss pot, every winning ride is usually an act of god such is the superlatives he adorns the midget ones, did anyone mention to him that the sport is called HORSE racing and I'll stress again HORSE!, yep its horses that win races usually the ones who go faster than the other ones, just like formula one you won't win a Grand Prix in a Mini Cooper.

amazed this thread hasn't got more in the way of publicity, considering the guy involved is chalk and cheese?, some adore him, some like me almost vomit at his persistant pounding on my head, and others would gladly throw him leg first into a bailer and turn it off half way and let him slowly bleed to death.

he his the best at what he does,his lunch time dog commentaries in korals - each race is like the abbey,he whips it up and dramitises a bit of bumping,better not let korals know though as punters are stopping feeding the fobts while they listen to him.

To be fair he is wasted given the bulk of profit in Shops are machines related.
He will be "promoted" soon and be the one who's job it is to get people hooked on the Roulette - wasted talent. Probs best using him in places like Richmond and Newmarket as if he goes most places and pounces on people as soon as they walk through door he will get knocked out the poor fella. |

when he's doing the comms for coraltv and the hares running and the traps open he says rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrracing for about 10 secs and only commentates on the fav or his selection..
he is the best on ATR imo and speaks his mind which is good just not suer on his comms |
