He'll be odds on now once people know thar. If you read the Ante Post Forum the only reason people aren't backing him because they fear he'll run out of gas like he did last year but now he's got help his wind tube is opened.

I thought it was common knowledge....has looked a different horses in his chases since the wind op...fast times in all its chases. Thats why I have no doubts that he will "come up the hill"...by the time he gets there the rest of the field could already be beat.

Did you or did you not get an official report it had the operation?. I'm writing a strongly worded letter to the BHA at this moment of time and I don't want to make a mug of myself if Henderson did say it.

Henderson took the decision to scratch Finians Rainbow after a workout on Monday.
The trainer said: 'He is not quite ready and we might wait until the Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton's Christmas meeting.'
Finians Rainbow is one of the most exciting contenders in the two-mile chasing division having finished second in the 2010 Arkle Chase before winning at Aintree's Grand National meeting.
In his absence, bookies make Paul Nicholls-trained Tataniano 5-2 and Philip Hobbs' Arkle winner Wishfull Thinking 7-2. Big winner: Andrew Lynch and Sizing Europe won the Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase at the Cheltenham Festival this year

Henderson has also warned that Sprinter Sacre, third in last season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle, is not a certain starter in the big novices' chase at Sandown on Saturday, the grade one Henry VIII Novices' Chase. Sprinter Sacre had a breathing operation in the summer.

A gorgeous and classy gelding who will now go chasing. He started last season with an unexpected defeat at Ascot, but came back quite sick. We were unable to start again until three months later, when he won at Ffos Las and Ascot. At the final hurdle in the Supreme I thought he was travelling best of our trio but he finished third. There is a lot of improvement to come and, as was the case with Spirit Son, the festival probably came a year too soon for him. We had to tinker with his wind so he’s a littlebehind. He did his first school the other day and it was a joy to watch.21/11/11

I think that people take racing far too seriously, what does it matter if a horse is not as good as he was. Most of the runners in many races aren't trying to win anyway.

wind operation wont mean he will come up the hill, it requires the guts to do it. he may still be a bridle ponce and is short enough at evens. all his winning has been done on flat tracks and he will be facing at least 3 who you know will come up the hill alferoff, peddlars and cue card. seems to me to be a horse you can still oppose with a reasonable chance of getting him beat at evens.
