Before I start, I'm not a loser, using credit cards to gamble my way out of trouble.  Quite the opposite!

I have short term liquidity issues, and I need to use my credit cards to put bets on at the bookies (high street) and maybe to use in betfair.

I know there are credit card charges for these cash transactions - are there any ways around this? 3% charges would wipe out my margin.

Cheers

I guess I was going to come over as desperate, explanation or not....3% guaranteed over 30 day term...give it up??  Are you serious - where else would you get that return?

I generate profits (risk free) by using large amounts of cash!

i didn't say I had no money - you assumed.  My 'system' is nothing more than common sense - something that 95% of people on here are not blessed with

I think you are missing out by only doing it for 30 days imo.

Im still smelling of desperation aren't I - I have a 6 figure sum in cash thats already tied up - the extra credit is to soak up the remaining of the risk-free opportunity.

u hope to generate risk free profits with huge amounts of cash? But u ain't got any readies? Thats why ur betting on the never never,if the system is sure then unlock your tied up assets and play with ur own dough. Credit cards tuck u up both ends and deservedly so,the pro betting vehicle of the degenerate.

'soak up the remaining' - it means that I've already put my cash into this opportunity - I just wanted more!

I think I've found the answer in that there is no way to access cash (cheaply) from a credit card.

I do have some further funds tied up in stocks and shares ISA's but then again there are transaction costs involved and I'd lose my ISA allowance.

?? I come on here asking a simple question, expecting a simple answer.  Most of you fail to read what I actually type...you seem to assume the worst or look for something that just isn't there - I bet you're the same with your gambling.  Its called maximising profits you mugs!
