Think we all should email McCririck on this rancid practice, get it aired on Channel 4 racing
By:
and then they moan about how bookies are in decline what a bunch of twonks
By:
The idea of the column for the Racing Post and its bookmaker business partners is for followers not to get the prices, but still back the horses anyway, imo...
By:
get it aired on Channel 4 racing
Yeah right ![]() |

its funny .on saturday did not revert
but on sunday did both when shops open. saturday 9 am sunday 10 am both got beat so badcrooks win again you cant beat cycils old mob |

Had a long conversation about this with customer services on saturday after failing to get advertised price in the shop.He advised price available online or in shops that open 8.00am but he couldnt tell me shops that open at that time.

Can't blame the bookies for wanting rid of clueless freeloaders. I think plenty would be glad to see the back of pw but the rp need to keep it going.

Skinto is distraught at this news saddo, go cheer him up please.

None of them really give a sh1t about racing, football etc anyway, as long as there's a reasonable supply of bandit addicts.

I emailed Channel 4 Racing about the Ubi Ace fiasco on Saturday before the race i.e.how 6/1 only was available, price didn't revert, Laddies manager couldn't understand how folk were supposed to get bets on etc. I got a nice reply from the lovely Tanya saying she'd pass my email onto the fat hairy one. Might get a mention on Saturday's Morning Line if a few more people email Channel 4. I think Tom Seagal is their special guest.
By:
Has to be asked this weekend then if Sir Tom is the special guest

i like the fact that whilst he is on channel 4 on saturday anyone that follows his selections wont be watching it as they will be knocking the bookies doors down trying to get £25 on his bets. be intereting to see if they mention anything about the pathetic limits the 'big 4' put on.
By:
when pw highlights where the bookies have gone wrong why shouldn't they change their prices? seems logical to me. Millhouse is probably right
By:
they havent gone wrong. its called a book!!!!!!!!!!!
they are bigger about some horses but then they are shorter about others!!!!!!!!!!! |
By:
Siralex..Ask Tom Segal on Channel4+1 when you get back !!
By:
If you can find a Ladbrooks shop in Ireland that is open before 10am you'd most likely find the cleaner behind the counter.
By:
I honestly believe that come saturday tanya will vanish up toms rear end before 9am
By:
is tanya fordy??? possibly??

Every week on the Morning Line Stevenson interviews a bookmaker rep (this is obviously a commercial endorsement, which is against OFCOM guidelines, but hey ho), and while we're sure to hear about what they've "taken money for", and what "special offers" we can all "take advantage of", she will deliberately fail to ask the only question that the punters who keep her show alive actually want asking.
The bottom line is that there is no place for boat rockers on the gravy train, as the few journalists who still have their integrity remotely intact will tell you (the victimisation of Lydia Hislop for daring to actually do her job, is a prime example)... |

Best we ALL make sure we e-mail them then i m o

opened up an account in my wifes name with ladbreokes. they closed it down instantly once they realised my account is restricted. so even if she just wants a bet on the grand national with them she cant!! i never thought i'd say this, but i am starting to think they r worse than korals!!!

To be fair, what exactly did you expect? |
By:
maybe he expected to place a bet?? isn't that what crookies are meant to do? take bets????
By:
Gonzo, surely the question Siralex is entitled to ask is where does it say in Ldbrks' rules, T and C's, advertising or media coverage that winning is not actually allowed...?
By:
Quite agree, the issue of bookies closing accounts is one that no-one in a position to do so will dare challenge, and it's a joke. I'm absolutely in line with your own opinion on that.
But to act surprised at them closing a new account after you've been restricted on one is a bit daft. |
By:
millhouse when did hislop rock the boat ?
By:
dr gonzo - of course i wasnt surprised. it has already happened with paddy power, stan james, bet365 and others. but i wont just give up when i am trying to make money!!
but as my wife said, why cant she place a bet??? she has done nothing wrong??? she might only bet once a year but they wont even let her do that. its wrong, thats all there is to it. |
