Recently got the above. Have tried to make 2 recording on ATR, each time it stopped itself. For instance I wanted to watch the Black Caviar race,
went to be bed 01.27 pressed record, it stopped recording at 2.05. It goes from Stateside to Aussie racing at 2.00am so it is not because it jumped programmes,
and I have only used up 20 mins of memory.

virgin has an overlap at the start and end of recordings just in case programmes overun.
marilyn,what you should have done is pressed the down arrow on your remote to highlight the 2.00 slot and press ok[middle button between 4 arrows].
if i need to prerecord a program crossing over 2 time slots i press record on both as explained above.

If you want to change the overlap you can go into settings and customize to suit yourself
sorry when isaid press ok button i meant RECORD button.
