I've seen this mostly in horse racing forum etc, but i.e when it is quoted as +35.5 points for June, is that tick profit or is it 35.5% or 35.5 for every £1?

If someone on here doesn't mind explaining briefly I'd appreciate it ;) thanks

no, not 35.5 for every £1...if you put £1 on every bet you would have total of £35.5 profit

If the bank you start with is £100 and the profit on a 2/1 at advised stakes is 3 points, u'd back with £6 giving a return of £12 or 12 points, if your stake level is £1=1point like wise u'd make 24 points profit if your stake level was £2=1point. In effect you multiply points profit by your stake level. This is quoted when you back ALL recommendations to thier recommendation.

For example

I have a £100 bank

1 point = £2 (betting stake)

Therefore a 3 point win on a horse would equal £6

If over the month I am in profit by £30 then I am 15 points in profit

(30(£ profit) divided by the 2(£ which equals 1 point)

Hope that makes sense
