I,ve just tried to top up my account with Sportingbet to discover that they are adding a £1 admin fee to all deposits. It's the first time I know of a bookie charging you for the privilege of placing a bet with them. Does anybody know of anyone else apart from budget airlines trying this dodge ?

Regardless. £10 deposit will cost £11. £1,000 deposit will cost £1,001.
It does seem like an incredibly poorly thought out decision.
They were criticising the depositing and withdrawal patterns of some of their customers. If small multiple daily withdrawals/deposits are uneconomic why not invest in a system that pools the daily requests thereby reducing the charges or else put on a limit to the number of free transactions per day to ensure that wrong people are not hit.
If ever there was a case where punters will feel that is the principle rather than the money then this is it.

Boycott them! I certainly will until they withdraw the charge.

to be fair he was reduced to photos and stewards a while back. then paddy decided to load the 1.01's up before he unsuspended the photo markets, left him with the stewards and he's been ripped to pieces on a few of them. so just left with the old fred routine
