I am going to the Grand National & having reviewed train prices have decided to book a small luxury coach. It seats 12, (3 tables of 4, with a toilet on board) It will be leaving from London Liverpool Street at 7am on Saturday 14th April travelling to Liverpool city centre. Returning to London the following day- departing Liverpool at 11.30am. Cost for this is £150 per person. If you are interested please let me know. thanks

Can you pass me a link to this please. I have been on the trainline & it is £164 for a return train ticket on set times. On train times that does not really suit.thanks

No probs.

Go to eastcoast.co.uk.  Search for London to Liverpool return.  When you get to the 'Mixing Deck' (as they call it) select 2 single tickets rather than a return.  You can get an outbound ticket for £26.50 (or £13.50 if you go a few mins before 7) and your return journey for £32.50.

2 singles is pretty much always cheaper then a return.

Hope this helps.
