am planning to make the 400 mile trip to ayr 2mro in my quest to get every course in britain done have read everything post have to say have studied weather forcast and they all seem positive (as they did about mussleboro today) but i want to know what it like in the area and if any locals have a opinion as to if racing will or will not go ahead. thankyou

cant help with the ayr weather but i do think its been worse everywhere than was expected

what may give you some hope is that flights from boston usa that cant land at heathrow are landing at preswick which is about 5 miles from ayr racecourse

thank you very much sherlock better get my alarm ready for a 4am start. theresome i have 18 left to do the plan was to do ayr stay in newcastle mon go sedgefield tuesday then ludlow wed but looks as tho that wont happen would have liked to get 3 done then plan another trip in may. anyway thanks guys fingers crossed.

mr pratt suprised you say that everywheres had it worse than forecast
we live in a high above sea level usual bad weather spot in county durham
and we had only had a couple of inches and that thawing already
we are on for having easly our best overall winter in the 40 years ive lived here
