"Only one runner today, when No Rules runs tonight at 7.30 pm in the two mile handicap, at Kempton, as the blood result on Barwick was not right. This is very disappointing, as he ran well last time and I was hopeful of a good run today. He had not run for a long time, when he re-appeared at Goodwood a fortnight ago but he ran well there for a long way and has come on for the run; however, he will need to get very lucky tonight from draw 13 but I still expect him to put up a reasonable show. "
