That would normally be about eight pints, but my health doesn't allow it at present. I would normally take a ton with me, but the pub/restaurant is near a bookies and I will have 600 in my sky rocket. Depending on how the betting goes, there's a fair chance that a good part of my hard earned will go on Dynastic in the 7.05.  gl all.

400 at 9/4 and had to listen to the commentery in the pub/res. Please tell me Moore gave his all? Cry

As for Nicole Nordblad (7) and Hans Christian fkn fairytale, who the fck are they???? Cd  Moore have won with a couple of more love taps?

Needless to say, I got it right but wrong if you catch my drift. (beat the FAV) At least mrs stew enjoyed her meal.....  CryCry

I will be up at 6am to try and rectify this situation.

PS I would still be drinking if mrs stew didn't have here work tomorrow. (Actually, I've just cracked open a bottle of Pinot)

Any questions will gladly be answered as I've done far worse.

(Especially when it goes for taking my beloved out for a meal Cry) (sure she;s a jinx)

That's the bottle of Grino gone now. mrs stew fast asleep and I should be off to my kip. However, I've cracked open another, (not a good idea) however, there's another story I would like to share. (I'll regret this tomorrow) (nap) (ten stars) Approx seven years ago I lost 6k on a saturday, laying all day.

mrs stew came over to my house because we were going out for a meal at seven. She asked how I'd got on. When I told her she said 'for ***** sake' She never swears.

Long story short, She obliged me by putting 1k in her account. The only race left was a 15-17 runner handicap with the FAV at 11/2. Nicholls/Walsh. I'm desperate and what do you do? You stick the 1k on the Nicdholl's mount.

What did I do?, laid the beast and it romped home. To this day, I've no idea what my mindset was.

I can't describe the atmosphere at the table that night.

We proceeded to hit the town after that and I bumped into a couple of pals. I said nothing, but they knew it had been a bad day.

The moral of the story???? Unless you're studid enough' never get the ranch foreman involved with your gambling, and don't use someone else's accountr to punt with.

Needless to say, I only have my own account to punt with now, after using mrs stew's account on ocassion.

She actually opened the account when Tim_UK was on the go, thinking it was easy to back the FTSE to be up/down at 1.03!!!!

Normally a few pints of Stella or Strongbow, but mrs stew likes the odd Pinot. And when I got home (after having a glass), I decided to drown my sorrows!!

My mrs is snoring upstairs - i cant here her but i will tell her i can when i go up LaughLaugh-my earlier comment related to the horse you had a fair few quid on which was a deffo buzzer as was the Godolphin horse which i backed heavily with a saver for the stake on yours -my point being that Delta was probably interested in your +/- fig for the season based on the fact you had put that horse up as it was clearly a live one you were on -as we know it was a double whammy for me with both getting beat -turned a very decent day into a bad un CryCrySadSad

I know where you're coming from shearer. When I went into the bookies, (during my meal) it was 15/8 I think. Has it stayed at that price I would not have backed it. At 9/4 I couldn;t resist. Had it not drifted, I would be 400 richer. Having said that I was already down approx. 300 on here. I could aftertime and say I fancied Sanders mount beforehand, (poppy?), but that's the way it goes sometimes.

It's me and my Mrs 10th wedding anniversary today and so I booked us a table.

I phoned her up at work this morning to surprise her and she told me to fook off.

I forgot she hates snooker!
