Did you notice when Gary O'Brien asked him to show him the difference between the whip they use here in Ireland compared to the one in Britain, he didn't show the whip to the camera just quickly said all jockeys here in Ireland use the air cushioned whip and swiftly moved on, what a liar and a hypocrite!.

I'm not anti whip kavvie but Walsh is been hypocritical, they were shouting from the rooftops anyone who would listen that the new whip doesn't hurt the horses run flight from the noise the whip makes, so if thats the case why would they want to use a different whip in Ireland?, answer: because it hurts more!.

And if he wasn't lieing then why didn't he show the whip to the camera when prompted Gary?

they may be intelligent but Hughes and Walsh have acted as though they are bigger than the sport in recent weeks....given their riding styles, it should have been easier for them to comply to new rules than others but they thought they could carry on as previously and made no effort. Stuff em.

Which animal rights group are you employed by Silver? You seem to be stalking the 'whip' threads and thrusting your view on everyone.

There is a rumour going around that these groups register a number of usernames and then search out areas where they can impose their will upon others. Not on this forum Silver, OK.

the rule is simply wrong..the whip doesnt hurt the horse.it has bigger repercussions down the line..cheltenham...aintree..ascot..newmarket..they would be poorer places without the irish and french im sure you will agree..both the horses and the people..as it is people are slow  enough to back horses in english racing..im sure itl get worse as time goes on..if they dont change them..

Duncan if the top names don't stand up to be counted what chance have the little guys got? I've heard this trotted out before but if Hughsie and Ruby hadn't stood up then you guys would be saying 'if you think it's wrong why aren't Hughsie and Ruby standing up'? You want it both ways.

I don't know where or how I can qualify for the accusation of been an animal rights plant brigust?

My thread was simply about Walsh clearly telling fibs that all jockeys in Ireland use the british style air cushioned whip when riding in Ireland, Gary O'Brien would surely know they use a different whip in Ireland wouldn't he?, or he wouldn't have asked Ruby to tell him the difference between the two whips.

Animals rights activist?, I can only smile at the absurdity of the accusation.

the new whip rules are a joke and it aint just the irish jocks that are unhappy!! its the irish jocks that arent afraid to speak their minds and arent happy to operate under a stupid fooking rule that puts a retaraint on their ability to ride to their full potential! a rule that is UNREALISTIC and impossible to operate under in the heat of the moment during a race where split second decisions have to be made!!

the bha are a retarded organisation! u can mention whips, stewwards and tarmacing which is uncalled for btw, im irish and am offended by those comments!! i dont go calling u a nation of shop keepers and **** sexuals do i!

the rule is a farec and IT WILL be done away with!

I'm not going around now saying why arent AP and Frankie or Dickie Johnson and Fallon making a stand, so how do you presume i would be saying that?
