I think the drift told us all we needed to know - too late for me I'm afraid.

Shocker, top jockey gets beaten on 3rd favourite from the the all conquering Nigel Tinkler stable!
Just out of interest, the 9/4f favourite finished stone last with the post race comments of: dwelt in rear, ridden 4f out, soon detached, tailed off and Dwelt, always in rear, ridden in last over 3f out, soon beaten, well tailed off (op 7-4 tchd 11-4) But that's OK and some might not even have noticed that because Kieren Fallon wasn't on it. Also the 2nd fav ended up 9/2 from an opening show of 9/1, which probably explains why Fallon's horses drifted in the betting, not that I'm suggesting you were saying any dodgy went on miss.wales, and just reflected your lack of confidence behind it once it did. That 2nd fav being Spencer's mount Dashing Eddie: in touch, effort over 2f out, ridden and hung left over 1f out, kept on same pace Fallon's horse Pursuing: Tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, not quicken well over 1f out, weakened final furlong That would be at the 1f mark where Spencer's horse ran into Fallon's by the way and stopped his momentum, ending any chance that he might have had.......it's all there if people want to look but seemingly some people don't really want to. ![]() |
