Hi guys, can anybody tell me where you can watch Australian racing live online? ie do any of the bookies stream it and if not, how do they all watch it! Thanks in advance

Not a great deal online, most people watch from the TAB, club or pay tv.

rcing - Have you ever monitored 'in-running' on Australian racing?
Even meetings like Moonee Valley, last Saturday - and Caulfield, the week before. It is practically non-existent. Pointless putting a 'saver' Layback in - if you have had a pre-race bet - as only the winner gets matched below Evens - and all the others rarely get matched below their SP. |

i dont know if radio broadcast interests you, here is victoria's no 1 racing station, all races nsw,victoria etc

i've never tried in race betting, but it may not even be legal for australian residents.
I know for sport you have to ring up to place a bet during a game, you can't just do it online. If that's the case it would explain why aussie in race betting barely exsists. |

We don't have the vision for in running, up until 12 months ago you couldn't even take a laptop on to the race tracks, in running is not big here and i don't think it will get any bigger.
Betfair are in a court case right now and if they lose betfair will be finished in Aus. We have the provisions to start our own exchange and if betfair close here it could be a possibility and because it will be run by the TABs they will incorperate the tote in to it to boost numbers. |
