Your chance to get help – and to offer help

In many cases, when it comes to needing some quick assistance or a question answered, there will be a fellow Betfair customer who would know just what to do or say.

So, we have today launched a Help Forum at community.betfair.com/go/question/list , allowing you to post questions and queries for other customers to step in and assist you with. Alternatively, users can go into the Help Forum and answer questions from fellow users.

There are different categories into which the questions can be posted, and the process of adding or answering a question is very simple: see below for a guide to how to post, answer and read questions
When a question has been correctly/suitably answered, it can be marked as ‘answered’ – however, only the person who posed the question, or Betfair, can mark a question as ‘answered’.

The Help Forum will be regularly checked and monitored to ensure that any questions which have gone unanswered for some time get attention, as well as to correct or update any erroneous answers.
However, it is a forum for customers – please make the most of it to get the help you need, or to offer your years of knowledge!

Asking a question:

1 – The title for question goes in the ‘Ask’ box. You are limited to 110 characters, but you can add more detail at the next step. You can also begin the process of asking a question using the ‘Ask a question’ option on the right hand side

2 – Add further detail and context to your question (if you wish), select the category to place it into (ie Betfair Mobile, My Account etc), insert a picture if you want to, then submit your question

3 – Your question has been added. You can, if you later find information, add an answer of your own. Or, should someone else provide a suitable response, you can mark the question as answered by simply clicking the ‘mark answered’ option

Answering a question:

1 – You can see unanswered questions in two different ways. By browsing all the options in the ‘Categories’ section, or by clicking on the ‘browse unanswered questions’ under ‘Answer’ in the middle.

2 – Your answer to the question goes into the space provided. When complete, press submit. Only the person who asked the question, or Betfair, can mark a question as ‘answered’

Looking at questions and answers:

There are various ways to look at the many questions and answers: By a key word search using the ‘Search Questions’ box, by using the ‘Categories’ option, the      list of questions that appears below the categories or by clicking on the ‘browse answered questions’ option.

Reporting content:

If you see anything that you think breaches any of the Betfair Community Terms and Conditions, be it in an answer or a question, please use the report button (circled below) to draw it to the attention of our administrators.
