The little men don't know whether they are coming or going. The way I see it most of them are trying not to use their whips at all now. Jockeys, most of whom have very little intelligence in the first place seem to have no clue as to what to do now.

I've had my last bet and all things considered that is probably not a bad thing. If anyone can make money punting now then they have got an edge that I have not got. If a jockey is not willing or able to give a horse a belt to make it go faster then I am not sure how one can read form going forward

i think it's mainly losing punters who come out with all this 'would have won with one more smack' stuff....winning punters dont allow themselves such excuses and fairy tales and get on with it.

I am not so sure Duncan. Think now how easy it is going to be for the clever pilots like Ahern and Fallon to stop horses. I take your point that it is the same for everyone but for someone that could always make it pay I am completely thrown now. All I can see is jockeys on horses pushing and slapping, the driving finish is gone now.

Perhaps it is just me but I doubt it. Either way I have enough of it now. Whatever about the flat backing dodgepots that can't be driven out over fences or at the likes of Southwell is lunacy anyway in any ones language
