4/1 BAR to write for the Racing Post...There was a coup for Bangor-on-Dee racecourse last season when the local trainer Donald McCain agreed to write an informative weekly blog detailing his runners' chances. But McCain has now signed up to provide his thoughts solely to the Betfair website and, although still contributing to the Bangor site, the juicier stuff seems sure to be kept for his new clients.

That means there is another name out of the race to become the new star columnist of the Racing Post, with Nicky Henderson having informed the Post that he is not intending to write for them again. With Alan King already signed up for the Weekender, it still remains to be seen who will be joining the team at the Post in the weeks ahead.

Betfair even have Prince arry in their racing Club. . John Warren, the Highclere director, has evidently been teaching his son the art of networking too, as Jake Warren runs the syndicate which own Friday's Newbury winner Usain Colt, while Prince Harry is rumoured to be a member of the Betfair/Birdcage Racing Club, an offshoot of the Highclere syndicates

Pipe currently writes for The Daily Mirror. Depends on what sort of contract he has.

I just went through 30 NH trainer websites to see who WOULD do a good job with the RP just adding a name to their blog..Here's Ferdys

We have 5 runners at Carlisle today....

Sendiym runs in the Novice hurdle (first division) for owner Mr Tony Ambler.

Badgers Retreat also runs in the Novice Hurdle (second division). He will be running in Ferdy's colours

Universal Recycling Company have two runners today in Gavroche Gaugain, who runs in the Handicap Chase under Tony Kelly, and Going Wrong in the Beginners Chase under Graham Lee.

We also have Sumak running in the Handicap Hurdle for owners Mr Tony Pye and Mr Masoud Kahdem.

All horses are going very well at home and we are hopeful of a good days racing.

Posted on 20 Oct 2011 and his previous post was 2 weeks before that, 6th Oct Some pictures from our schooling morning....... So if a 1500 word blog comes up i'll definitely know it's not him Mischief

Didn`t know that. Used to take The Guardian but old age has meant cutbacks. In concentration not price.

I rember it from the betting shop i use to hang up the Mirror as well and it had something along the lines of the betting prices c/o the Racing Post and they had 10 to follow in it too from The Racing Post.
