Where was the most straightforward question this morning - does he support the BHA proposals? If he doesn't (which is obviously why he was asked on the programme) then surely he should clear off immediately. Can anyone imagine a Company making a decision and then directors immediately stating in public that they disagree with it - it just doesn't happen and the BHA should be no different. Johnston should have been doing nothing to make the situation worse and in this instance that should have been keeping his mouth shut for once.

How dare he have an opinion of his own. Everyone should march to the beat of the same drum.

Johnston has previously aired his views on the whip....

I'd like to hear his views on the possibility of jockeys striking.

Mark Johnston views racing purely through his relationship with the Maktoums on every single subject.

Personally I think he is a horrid individual, a bully and a brute, who takes his toys home if hes not winning.

Mr J should be knighted. He talks more sense than most and CERTAINLY more than the rest of the BHA put together.

He managed to keep his position ambivalent imo.
Which is why the OP and BHA apologist is ..er..cheesed off.

well if he voted for it at the board meeting he is a hypocrite and should resign
I like to think that is not the case and that he made his views known and voted against it in which case I salute him.

differentdrum. differentdrum? That cant possibily be the user name of someone who gives the most fatuous defence of official hypocrisy that I have ever encountered! Mark Johnston is an honest and straightforward man, who is much too good for the BHA actually, and based on your post at any rate, too decent for you to appreciate.
